Cooking for a Cause
“Sunday Supper” was a delicious success!
Sold out on a snowy winter evening in March 2015 and hosted at Terrapin Restaurant in Rhinebeck, four celebrated Hudson Valley Chefs came together to cook with cause and FarmOn!
A four course meal was created by chefs featuring local ingredients from family farms – all of them in the photographs from Author Francesco Mastalia’s new book:
Funds and awareness were raised as guests are with the people that make their food and supported resilient agriculture. FarmOn! Milk Money program raised $5k to bring Hudson Valley Fresh Milk to Rhinebeck students. Empire Farm Scholarship for Ag-entrepreneurial students was also funded. The community converged and the conversation was rewarding! Stay tuned for Sunday Supper series coming soon!

Thank you for your generosity and time. By supporting Hudson Valley Fresh, you provide students with truly premium quality milk and support nine family farms which represent 7,000 acres of open space in Dutchess, Ulster and Columbia counties.

Super fun party last week! I had a great time and am honored to have been a part of it. Where we send our donation check?

Bravo! Fantastico! Truly an amazing event. It is wonderful to see the community come together like this in support our farmers, our chefs and to all the people who care about creating a better food system.
Best Regards, Francesco
